Optimizing your cloud connections
With CCaaS from Fundaments, you have the ability to optimize your cloud connections for maximum performance and reliability. Discover how our solutions can help your business grow and improve your operational efficiency.
You can choose from various Cloud Connectivity services to establish a connection with Fundaments IaaS services. The most common and well-known method is the internet.
The internet
Fundaments' internet is fully managed by Fundaments. You benefit from a redundant setup, with redundancy in both equipment and internet traffic providers. Furthermore, internet connections are completely separated from other users, ensuring that sufficient bandwidth is always available.
DDoS protection included
Fundaments' internet can be equipped with automatic protection against various types of DDoS attacks. Because Fundaments is connected to the NAWas DDoS scrubbing center, attacks can be mitigated fully automatically.
Alternative connections
In addition to internet connectivity, Fundaments partners with various providers to offer alternative connections to Fundaments IaaS services. Together with NDIX (Netherlands-German Internet Exchange), Fundaments provides a network platform focused on security, using fiber optics as the standard for high bandwidth. NL-IX (Netherlands Internet Exchange) is one of the top five Internet Exchanges in the world and offers not only internet services but can also establish a Layer 2 Ethernet connection. For government institutions, Fundaments offers a connection to Gemnet, which guarantees a private digital network with the highest level of security. ZorgNet, used by healthcare institutions for secure data exchange, can also be connected to Fundaments IaaS and/or colocation in Fundaments' data centers.
International and Public Cloud connections
The Fundaments Cloud Gateway provides internationally operating users with a network connection in one of the InterXion or Equinix data centers and/or with one of the Public Cloud providers (Google, Microsoft, or Amazon). Because the Fundaments Cloud Gateway operates independently of the internet, this connection method ensures a highly secure link and better performance in terms of bandwidth guarantees and latency. This is because the Cloud Gateway does not rely on public traffic routing, as is the case with the internet.
Private connections
Private connections offer the highest level of assurance and are truly bespoke. Fundaments has partnerships with fiber optic providers such as TReNT and Eurofiber to create and link custom connections.
High-quality data center locations
Fundaments' CCaaS is based on a fully Dutch platform, distributed across seven data center locations in the East, Central, and West of the Netherlands. These are all Tier 3+ locations: the highest achievable class for a Dutch data center at this time. At a Tier 3+ data center, every aspect of security is considered, including guaranteed power supply, intrusion protection, water and fire detection, and climate control.

100% control over your data
Want to be certain where your data is located? The sovereign Cloud from Fundaments can guarantee that. This ensures your data resides on Dutch soil, is managed by a Dutch party—Fundaments—and provides you with full control over all your data. Fundaments' Private Cloud solutions form the foundation for a solid and reliable IT infrastructure, whether at your location or ours in the Netherlands. Our data centers are spread across seven locations in the East, Central, and West of the Netherlands. These are all Tier 3+ locations: the highest achievable class for a Dutch data center at this time. At a Tier 3+ data center, every aspect of security is covered, including guaranteed power supply, intrusion protection, water and fire detection, and climate control.
Comply with Dutch laws and regulations
With Fundaments' Cloud solutions, you comply with Dutch legislation for data storage and hold all relevant certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, NEN 7510, and ISAE 3402 type I and II). Fundaments' Dutch data centers also hold the same or comparable certifications. Furthermore, thanks to the NEN 7510 certification, our platform is suitable for supporting healthcare institutions.
